LMU-800 GPS/ GSM Vehicle Trackers Increase Safety and Security For Your Mobile Workforce.

The LMU-800 is an economical, full-featured vehicle tracking product designed for easy and reliable installation in automobiles. The LMU-800 is an ideal solution for stolen vehicle, vehicle finance, auto rental and other automotive track and trace applications when internal back-up battery is required.

Why LMU-800 cellular-communication based vehicle locator units?

  • Competitive Price and Technology
  • Flexibility
  • Over-the-air Serviceability

COMPETITIVE PRICE, COMPETITIVE TECHNOLOGY, COMPETITIVE EDGE

The LMU-800 high-value tracking unit from CalAmp features a small size, superior GPS performance, 3-axis accelerometer for motion and tilt sense, ultra low power sleep modes, and four inputs/four outputs (I/O). The LMU-900 is a complete vehicle tracking and communications device incorporating next-generation, super-sensitive GPS technology on GSM/GPRS/CDMA 1x RTT and HSPA cellular networks for installation in any 12 or 24 volt mobile vehicle. Internal or external antenna options enables the device to be mounted virtually anywhere for easy, inexpensive installations. Messages are transported across the cellular network using enhanced SMS or UDP messaging providing a reliable communications link between the device and your application servers. The LMU-900 is designed to dramatically reduce cost, power and size while providing excellent field reliability.

FLEXIBILITY

The LMU-800 employs CalAmp’s advanced industry leading on-board alert engine, PEG™ (Programmable Event Generator) to monitor external conditions and support customer-defined, exception-based rules to meet your application requirements. PEG monitors the vehicle environment and responds instantaneously to pre-defined threshold conditions related to time, date, motion, location, geo-zone, input and other event combinations. This behavior can be programmed by CalAmp before shipment, at a customer’s facility, or over-the-air once the unit has been fielded.

OVER-THE-AIR SERVICEABILITY

The LMU-800 leverages CalAmp's management and maintenance system, PULS™ (Programming, Updates, and Logistics System), for over-the-air configuration parameters, PEG rules, and firmware. This out-of-the-box hands free configuration and automatic post-installation upgrades can monitor unit health status across your customers' fleets to identify issues before they become expensive problems.

If your success depends on quality of transportation, logistics and asset monitoring, LMU-800 is your solution. With real-time tracking and asset protection, command and control your fleet via SafeMobile’s SafeNet™ Monitoring Center.
